Okay, so I'm back. Er, this feature is back. I'd like to thank Lakin for her comment. It was encouraging and definitely reminded me that the reason I do this in the first place is because I want to. Not because of anyone else. (But seriously, don't hesitate to comment. Say hi. Tell me what you ate for breakfast. Or, you know, actually respond to my topic.)
Today, I want to wonder about my accuracy. With what, you may ask? With my older reviews and ratings, particularly those on Goodreads. You see, I've had a Goodreads account for almost 4 years now. There are A LOT of books on there, most of them I remember pretty well. And some of them I just.. don't. And I see them with four or five star ratings. And very few of them have reviews, so I don't remember why I felt the need to give them that rating. And futhermore! I can't change it. Because I don't know what to change it to.
Especially since those higher ratings are based on one or more of these principles:
* interesting topic
* interesting execution
* gave me all the feels
* can relate to the character(s)
* too true to be anything else
* inspired me in some way
* so freaking beautiful
And with such a wide range for those high ratings... It's hard to re-rate them. But I'm a mission to try. Or at least sort them out somehow.
So my question to you:
