Waiting on Wednesday #3

Weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine,
which spotlights upcoming books we can't wait to read.

This week I can't wait to read:
The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead

The Fiery Heart (Bloodlines, #4)

Goodreads Summary:

In The Indigo Spell, Sydney was torn between the Alchemist way of life and what her heart and gut were telling her to do. And in one breathtaking moment that Richelle Mead fans will never forget, she made a decision that shocked even her. . . .

But the struggle isn't over for Sydney. As she navigates the aftermath of her life-changing decision, she still finds herself pulled in too many directions at once. Her sister Zoe has arrived, and while Sydney longs to grow closer to her, there's still so much she must keep secret. Working with Marcus has changed the way she views the Alchemists, and Sydney must tread a careful path as she harnesses her profound magical ability to undermine the way of life she was raised to defend. Consumed by passion and vengeance, Sydney struggles to keep her secret life under wraps as the threat of exposure—and re-education—looms larger than ever.

Pulses will race throughout this thrilling fourth installment in the New York Times bestselling Bloodlines series, where no secret is safe.

Expected publication:
November 19, 2013 by Razorbill

Why I can't wait:
BECAUSE OF THE LAST BOOK. Sorry for the all caps, but that conveys my feelings pretty accurately. I was so freakin happy at the end and it was crushed horribly by the appearance of Zoe. Ever since, I've been dying to find out if Zoe is going to ruin everything.
Seriously.
She better not.
After my disappointment with Vampire Academy, I'm really hoping Richelle Mead will cut her Team Adrian readers some slack.
On that note:

What are you waiting for?(:

  1. I have *not* read Richelle Mead's books. :( I've heard such great things, I just haven't gotten around to it. I hope you enjoy it!

  2. I have the first 3 of these but have held out on reading them so far. I have a terrible memory with books and always end up having to re-read series if I start too early. Maybe it's about time to start though! :)

  3. Great pick! I've had this on pre-order for what feels like forever but what does it matter, only ten more days to wait!

Thanks for stopping by! I do read every comment and I reply to all the ones that elicit some sort of response. So if you want, you can check back in a couple days to see if I replied.(:
