Books

So, I've been catching up on some reading. There are so many good books out there and I am determined to read them all.
Not that it's entirely possible.
For all I know, it might not be.
But I can read as many as I can.
So, I want to update on my reading this summer:

JUNE:
The Bar Code Tattoo - Suzanne Weyn (Really good. I liked it. 4 stars.)
Feast of Fools (Morganville Vampires, 4) - Rachel Caine (Love Morganville Vampires. 4.5 stars)
Lord of Misrule (Morganville Vampires, 5) - Rachel Caine (4.5 stars)
Spirit Bound (Vampire Academy, 5) - Richelle Mead (Amazing. Love VA. 5 stars.)
FlashForward - Robert J. Sawyer (Really interesting and very good. 4 stars)

JULY:
The Wild Girls - Pat Murphy
The Angel Experiment (Maximum Ride, 1) - James Patterson
The Forest of Hands and Teeth (The Forest of Hands and Teeth, 1) - Carrie Ryan
Before I Fall - Lauren Oliver
The Dead-Tossed Waves (The Forest of Hands and Teeth, 2) - Carrie Ryan
Eternal (Tantalize, 2) - Cynthia Leitch Smith
13 to Life (13 to Life, 1) - Shannon Delany

AUGUST:
Carpe Corpus (Morganville Vampires, 6) - Rachel Caine
Fade Out (MV, 7)
Kiss of Death (MV, 8)
Go Ask Alice - Anonymous
The Sweet Far Thing (Gemma Doyle, 3) - Libba Bray
Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, 1) - Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
Gone (Gone, 1) by Michael Grant
Beastly (Re-read) - Alex Flinn
The Mark (The Mark, 1) - Jen Nadol
Mockingjay (The Hunger Games, 3) - Suzanne Collins

Currently reading:
Hunger (Gone, 2) by Michael Grant

As you may or may not have noticed, I'm reading, starting, ending, many series.
I hate that I always choose the book series that haven't quite ended yet.
Like, The Hunger Games.
I love it.
But I had to wait months for Catching Fire.
And months for Mockingjay.
Although I must say that the waiting made me that much more excited....
So, I guess it's not too bad...
I mean I love series, but sometimes I don't like them so much.
Sometimes I just want to know how it ends.
But if I love the books enough, I never want it to end.
You know what I mean?

Anyways, all these series mean that my books-to-read list is very long.
On Goodreads, it's about a thousand books.
I'm slowly working my way through it and taking off the books that I added but don't actually WANT to read.
So, every week I want to do a post on a book (or a few books...) that I am waiting for.
And you can tell me what books YOU'RE waiting for.
Also, I'll be posting some reviews for the books listed soon.
Hopefully.
Anyways, until then,
Happy Reading! (And Writing!)

  1. That's a lot of reading. And I hope the Hunger Games series did actually end. The ones that go on forever make me crazy.

  2. @ Chocolate lover: You're telling me? ;)
But, yes. I really do love reading. :)

@ Alex: It is a lot of reading. The Hunger Games ended. Officially. And I loved every page of the series. Sometimes I wish a series would go on forever. But eventually, it's got to end.

  3. Oh, I have the Bar Code Tattoo. I haven't finished it yet (it's one of many that I've started and have yet to finish. It's like a disease). So many books, so not enough time.
